Parish Ghyll Road
PWA was appointed to undertake the structural engineering design for this striking 1½ storey domestic extension to the rear of No. 1 Parish Ghyll Road.
The design utilises a slender steel frame incorporating extensive glazing, a covered barbecue and decking area with fine detailing throughout. The finished result is a bold composition of old and new.
The project has won several awards, including being regional winner for the LABC Building excellence awards receiving a commendation in design from Ilkley Civil Society. For the delivery of this bespoke project we worked alongside Halliday Clark Architects, Dakin Construction and Michael Eyres Partnership.
