PWA has been involved extensively with Presspart over a series of adaptations and extensions. In a development high-risk area, we undertook coal mining risk assessments to understand the site risks associated with shallow mine workings. Initial assessments of existing drainage networks and structural frameworks were undertaken to determine the adequacy for the proposals and subsequent designs undertaken to provide capacity for the business expansion. Designing a scheme in close communication with the principal contractors and the client to ensure operations throughout were unaffected was the key to the multiple successes on this site.
