Last month we had the pleasure of hosting two work experience students who split their time with us between the civil and structural teams getting the chance to immerse themselves in a professional setting.
They had an hands-on experience, working with the teams to design and draw their own projects and had the chance to attend a site meeting on a live construction site gaining practical insights into the industry.
Our work experience program offers valuable opportunities for students to gain practical knowledge, develop essential skills, and explore their potential future career.
From day one they actively engaged in meaningful tasks, being part of our team, students further developed essential attributes such as communication, teamwork, time management, and adaptability.
It was great to see them grow and develop their skills with us in just a short amount of time, they both demonstrated great determination through consistently tackling tasks.
They also gained a deeper understanding of their own strengths and areas of interest, helping them make informed decisions about their future career paths, hopefully we will see them back on an apprenticeship.
Thankyou Teagan & Harry good luck with your futures!
